Assalamu Alaikom Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu!

Another year has passed for the Commission on Higher Education with interesting endeavors despite limited budget. However, Allah (S.W.T.) in His grace bestowed on us unlimited resources such as motivated workforce in the region.

This year marks another milestone in the office of the Commission of Higher Education as we see progress in each program of works per mandate of the law that created the ARMM RA 6354 as amended.

One of the highlights was the holding of the Bangsmoro Educators' Congress with a theme, "Education and Global Security." This was held in the light of peacebuilding efforts of the government. It is a positive development in the social reengineering mechanism for democratic endeavor to the peace program of the government.

This year, CHED in AR-MM Region continuously network and cooperate with the funding agencies for the research and extension service of the academe. The cooperative efforts should enhance the development of the research programs towards peace education, poverty reduction, environmental management, effective governance and all allied educational reforms.

The challenge posed to us is the development needs of the AR-MM as they relate to human resource development in the legislative, judiciary and executive branches of our government and civil society institutions thus, we incessantly do our best, insha Allah.
